1: Segment LCD viewing angle: What is the viewing angle? 2: Segment LCD screen temperature: Temperature is also one of the main parameters in the LCD screen. During the customization period, the screen factory will send a drawing. There are a kind of indispensable parameters: "working temperature, storage temperature". Two. Pay attention to this parameter when designing, and consider what kind of environment the product is working in. The LCD screen is generally divided into 3-4 ranges, normal temperature (0-50℃) range, wide temperature (-20-75℃) range, and ultra-wide temperature (-30-85℃) range. When the wrong selection is made, the following reaction will occur: the display will react slowly in a low temperature environment, and there will be a background shadow at a high temperature.
3: Drive mode and voltage: The drive mode is a setting that matches the drive IC, so you should select the drive IC before selecting the LCD. There will be a detailed description in the drive IC. Or it can be directly made into a display module, so you don't need to consider this content. The terminology in the industry is: duty cycle and bias ratio. As long as these two parameters are provided, the LCD screen factory will have a solution, and the voltage also needs to be provided.
4: Segment LCD screen display mode: The display of the effect. At present, most low-end screens can only be black and white. The display principle of LCD fully shows that it cannot emit light, so it needs the backlight at the bottom to see clearly, so Derived the positive display mode, negative display mode, full transparency mode, semi-transparent mode, and there can be many combinations between them. Under normal circumstances, the positive display mode is black and white background, the negative display mode needs to add the bottom backlight and the black background backlight color, the semi-transparent mode is the bottom backlight of the positive display, and the full-transparent mode has negative display and positive display. Most of them belong to the backlit display.
